The service

Lampio is a tool that helps you learn vocabulary while reading English content (desktop and mobile). The product is currently in beta and provided "as is"; features may change at any time.

Your account

Some features (such as cross-device sync) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

Content & acceptable use

Lampio ships with no content of its own — the web pages, documents, EPUBs, etc. you read are provided or accessed by you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate legal rights to any content you import or access, and for complying with applicable copyright and law.

You may not use the product for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, or to abuse the service through automated means.

Intellectual property

The Lampio application and its brand belong to the developer. The learning data you create (words, notes, etc.) belongs to you; rights in the third-party content you read belong to their respective owners.

Third-party content & sites

The product is a browsing and reading tool. Third-party sites and content you access through it are the responsibility of their respective providers, and we are not responsible for their accuracy, legality, or availability.

Disclaimer

The product is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted / error-free operation. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the product.

Termination

You may stop using and delete the app / account at any time. If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access to the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law & contact
